Welcome back to another term and probably the longest (I haven’t checked!) and busiest of the year. I hope that you all had a wonderful half term and thoroughly enjoyed the scarecrow trail!
This term is always tinged with sadness also because I know that in 38 school days time (I have checked!) we will lose our fabulous Year 6 children, who will be starting the next stage of their educational journey. All the more reason, then to make the most of our time with them. Today, however, they are off on a very exciting Lifeskills visit to Bristol. Sounds great!
Once again, the teachers have worked hard to plan some brilliantly exciting International Primary Curriculum topics and we will continue to maintain our links with schools from around the world. I can see it being another term packed full of learning, fun and community spirit with Sports Day, school productions and Induction all in the mix too. I’m really looking forward to it!
If you haven’t checked out our class blogs for a while, please head over to thistle.westwoodblogs.org, clover.westwoodblogs.org, lotus.westwoodblogs.org and orchid.westwoodblogs.org. SO much incredible work from last term and into the holidays and if you have a few spare moments, please comment and give our brilliant learners an even bigger audience. Thank you and have a fantastic term!
