Welcome back to a new term and already we are in to Term 4! With slightly longer daylight time in the evenings, Spring is almost upon us!
Returning to school is as exciting as ever, particularly since we have a brand new mud kitchen in our playground for the children to enjoy. With huge thanks to Ms Brown and her family, Mr Scott and Jeff, all of whom worked so hard to make it so lovely for the children. If you get the chance, please do pop round to have a look – I wish I’d had one at my school when I was young – it will certainly encourage even more exploratory and investigative play. So much fun! Our grounds are looking fantastic now and there really is something for everyone to play with.
Tomorrow sees the annual West Wilts Dance Festival at the forum in Bath and I am very much looking forward to cheering our children on once more. With Karen Hobson choreographing another superb routine, I have no doubt that Westwood will again be the talk of the evening. It is always such a happy and inspiring occasion, with the children experiencing performing on a huge stage in front of hundreds of people. Good luck to you all! I will report back again shortly and look forward to the regional heat of the Great Big Dance Off, which is only a couple of weeks away!
Have a lovely term everyone.
